About us
Accountancy is becoming teams of people working alongside teams of AI agents. Artifact is where that work is coordinated: what the agents do, what still needs a human, and who reviews and signs off.
Artifact’s agents work across the full accounting cycle, from coding transactions and chasing paperwork through reconciliations, accruals and journals to VAT returns, management packs and cash flow forecasts. They work inside the ledger, inbox and practice systems firms already use so nothing needs to be migrated or replaced. Accountants stay in control of review and sign-off, and where ready-made agents do not fit, teams can build their own in Picasso.
Artifact also helps firms manage the shift from preparing work to reviewing exceptions and advising clients, with implementation, training and adoption built into the product.
The result is more capacity for clients and advisory work without adding headcount.
