In January 2025, AccountsIQ expanded its offering with the acquisition of ExpenseIn, a leading expense management platform processing over one million expenses monthly across 50+ countries. The acquisition reflected a straightforward observation: expense management is one of the last manual, error-prone processes left in most finance functions, and it rarely sits well as a bolt-on to a generic accounting system.
ExpenseIn automates the full expense lifecycle - receipt capture via mobile app, mileage tracking, corporate card reconciliation, and configurable approval workflows - removing the spreadsheets and paper receipts that still slow down many finance teams.
Since joining the AccountsIQ Group, expense capture, approval and reconciliation now flow directly into AccountsIQ's core accounting and consolidation engine, rather than living in a separate system that finance teams have to reconcile by hand at month-end. For customers, that means a single connected platform spanning both accounting and expense management.
