About us

Accountancy is becoming teams of people working alongside teams of agents. Artifact AI is where that work is coordinated: who does what, what runs when, what needs a human and who signs.

Its agents run the whole span, from coding the bank feed and chasing paperwork, through difficult reconciliations, accruals and complex journals, to the VAT return, the management pack and the cash flow forecast. They work in the ledger, the inbox and the practice systems a firm already runs. Nothing is migrated and nothing is replaced. The firm's team reviews and signs off exactly as it does now. Where the ready-made agents don't fit, accountants build their own in Picasso.

The harder part is the change. Roles move from preparing files to reviewing the work, handling exceptions and advising clients. Artifact is built for that shift: it meets each team where it is, trains people, shows partners where adoption is working or stalling and keeps the firm in control of what agents are allowed to do. Implementation is part of the product.
